Shanghai Polytechnic University (SSPU) was founded in 1960. With an emphasis on engineering, SSPU is renowned for its academic achievements in multiple disciplines, including Economics, Management, Humanities, Science and Art. The university mainly provides undergraduate education, complemented by postgraduate, higher vocational, and international education. Within the university’s six academic disciplines, bachelor’s degrees are offered in 38 fields of study, and higher vocational diplomas are offered in 30 fields of study. Currently, the university has nearly 1,100 faculty and staff, and over 12,000 full-time students.
